We invite you to participate in and disseminate the vital survey developed in the framework of the RM Roadmap project (funded by Horizon Europe) that will help shape the future of research management in Europe, by supporting the recognition and professionalisation of research managers. Your input is crucial for us to provide valuable recommendations for the professionalisation of research management.
This survey builds on previous surveys, primarily on the RAAAP (Research Administration As A Profession) series, and will focus on your job profile, career path, skills and competencies, as well as your training, mobility, and networking opportunities.
By participating, you contribute to:

• Building an inclusive definition and terminology including RM professional categories;
• Developing career development frameworks for RMs;
• Creating skills and competence matrixes specific to our profession;
• Establishing a comprehensive training scheme for future research managers.

Your responses are anonymous and will it take approximately 25 minutes to complete.
Collected data will be shared via online open access repositories (Figshare and Zenodo) after thorough anonymisation. Results of the research will be also published open access in research reports and possibly in peer-reviewed scientific publications which shall include the characterisation of the national professional communities. It is also important to ensure a representative participation of the national professional communities in the field of research management.
The deadline to complete the survey is December 22, 2023.

RM Roadmap co-creation session 1: It’s time to vote!
We are now at the final stage of the first RM Roadmap co-creation session and we are asking you to state whether you believe that your country’s consensus document reflects the national picture.
Already, more than 1,400 research managers from 40 nations across Europe have joined us on the RM Roadmap Knowledge and Community Platform to share their views regarding national research management associations and networks.
Your opinion is valuable to the outcomes of the RM Roadmap project and will shape the future of research management in Europe.
You do not need to be an EARMA member to participate in the co-creation sessions and there is no charge to take part.
If you have an EARMA account, use your EARMA account to log in and join the RM Roadmap groups. If you do not have an EARMA account, you can register for the RM Roadmap groups.
You can submit your vote until Friday November 10, 2023. Thank you for your support and we hope that you will join us again for co-creation session 2 taking place in March 2024.

It offers distinct, targeted financial support to parties that are EURAXESS members but do not directly participate in the ERA TALENT project. The support is provided for enhancing career development or talent circulation services offered in line with the call objectives.
The call has been made available within the ERA TALENT project, which aims at further developing the services provided by the EURAXESS network, through the reforming of its structure. The project is supporting the career development of researchers in Europe, expanding the career trajectories for them in academia, industry, business, the public and the non-governmental sectors.
To ensure impact across the entire EURAXESS network and benefitting all five active EURAXESS hubs, in this call up to 25 small-scale projects will be supported.

Horizon Europe MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships offer successful applicants a full-time contract with a highly competitive salary to work on a research project and enjoy advanced training. The duration of the Fellowships is described online and the eligibility criteria for applying are:

• Holding a PhD degree at the time of the deadline for applications (Applicants who have successfully defended their doctoral thesis but who have not yet formally been awarded the doctoral degree will also be considered eligible to apply);
