[column 12]A free mover student is a student enrolled at a foreign university or a foreign citizen who graduated secondary-school/ high school or undergraduate studies and who wishes to participate in one or more of the courses offered by UMF Grigore T. Popa Iasi, for a period of time equivalent to 1 month or 1 semester, on existing bilateral agreements between the university and the higher education institutions, and without receiving a study diploma.

Enrollment procedure

[column 12]UMF IASI accepts free-movers from European Union member countries or from E.U third countries for either a semester or a year and with the approval of the home university, as well as pending an approval from the Dean of the Faculty the candidate is interested in attending.

The maximum number of the admitted students is:

• 10 students for the Faculty of Medicine
• 10 students for the Faculty of Dental Medicine
• 25 students for the Faculty of Medical Bioengineering - Physio-kinesiotherapy

1. Application form
2. Transcript of Records for the semesters attended within the home university
3. Letter of Nomination from the home university
4. Simple copy of the ID card or passport
5. Medical Certificate containing proof of hepatitis B vaccination, information whether or not the candidate is registered as suffering from chronic diseases, a mention that the candidate does not suffer from contagious diseases or other diseases incompatible with the future profession; the candidate’s psychiatric evaluation
6. The certificate of language skills in the language of tuition, with level B2 / independent user as the minimal accepted level

[column 12]The application file will be sent to the Department of International Relations by e-mail at mihaela.sirotta@umfiasi.ro.
After the Letter of Acceptance is issued by UMF IASI and sent to the student, he/she has to fill in a Learning Agreement, which will be signed both by the home institution and by the host university (using the Erasmus+ Learning Agreement sample).
Each student will be enrolled at the chosen Faculty based on the official letter issued by the Department of International Relations and signed by the Vice-Rector for International Relations.
